Big Comedy Thursday

Richard Herring, Jan Ravens, Jarlath Regan and compere Zoe Lyons

Richard Herring: King of the Edinburgh Fringe, Metro columnist and the UK’s Podfather (RHLSTP, AIOTM). From his deconstruction of the genealogy of Christ to him proving that racists are less racist than liberals, via some of the best knob jokes in the business.

Jan Ravens, star of the hit Radio 4 series Dead Ringers, brilliantly observes an array of contemporary characters, including Theresa May and Diane Abbott. Razor-sharp satire delivered with startling virtuosity.

Jarlath Regan, host of the Irishman Abroad podcast, has made his living performing stand-up across Ireland, the UK and the rest of the world since he was 24. How long ago is that? Nobody knows.

Zoe Lyons is the host, a familiar face on TV, with her sideways view of life, picking out the many absurdities and turning them into hilarious routines which she delivers with tremendous energy.

Big Comedy Saturday

Lucy Porter, Barry Cryer & Ronnie Golden, Tiff Stevenson and Scott Gibson

Lucy Porter has been a huge hit with comedy audiences up and down the country for over ten years with her distinctive, bouncy, feel-good comedy. She travels internationally with her stand-up shows- taking in the Far East and including shows in Hong Kong, Bangkok, Macau, Manila, Switzerland and Paris.

Barry Cryer & Ronnie Golden. Barry’s formidable collection of one-liners and tall tales alongside Ronnie’s amazingly versatile musicianship and awesome array of musical impressions: everyone from Dylan to Springsteen via Jagger and Richards and Bowie. Their comic songs take in the unlikeliest themes – voluntary euthanasia, mobile phone frustrations, free bus passes, gay interior designers in the Wild West, alien lifeforms and… John Prescott!
“Twoof comedy’s most fabled masters” (Festival Times)”

Mock the Week’s Tiff Stevenson has a thought provoking and engaging style that has seen her consistently play to packed audiences. Tiff’s latest solo show ‘Mad Man’ was one of the best reviewed shows at the Edinburgh Festival.

Hosted by Glasgow born and bred Scott Gibson, mixing a conversational style with his own unique brand of dark humour. Confidently leading his audience down a path, few dare to tread. Winner of the Edinburgh Comedy Award Best Newcomer 2016.
